The Philips Sonicare 8500 is a fantastic toothbrush. This is the first time I’ve used a sonic toothbrush, and I’ve been really impressed with how well it cleans. It leaves my teeth feeling noticeably clean and fresh after every use. One of my favourite features is the visual pressure indicator. It makes it very easy to see whether you’re applying the optimal amount of pressure while brushing. This is particularly useful when you’re new to using an electric or sonic toothbrush, as it helps you develop the right brushing technique without having to guess how much pressure to use. The charging system is another great feature. The included glass can simply be left in the bathroom, and when the toothbrush needs charging, you just place it in the glass and put the glass onto the wireless charging pad. It’s a really convenient and tidy setup, and there are no cables or connectors to worry about in the bathroom. The travel case is also well designed. It feels sturdy and provides good protection for the toothbrush, while still being reasonably compact. I particularly like that the brush head can be stored underneath the toothbrush, which keeps the overall case size down. It should be ideal for taking the toothbrush on holidays or business trips. It will definitely be durable. The brush-head replacement reminder is another feature I really appreciate. Rather than simply reminding you after a certain amount of time, the toothbrush keeps track of your usage and displays a countdown showing how many brushing sessions you have left before the brush head needs to be replaced. It takes the guesswork out of knowing when it’s time for a new one. The Sonicare app is excellent and adds a lot of extra functionality. The guided brushing mode helps you make sure you haven’t missed any areas of your mouth, which is particularly useful for improving your brushing habits. The app also offers smart ordering, meaning you can arrange for replacement brush heads to be ordered before your current one needs replacing. It’s a thoughtful feature that means you’re less likely to find yourself without a replacement when you need one. The battery life has also been excellent. It lasts long enough that I don’t have to think about charging it regularly, and the wireless charging glass makes topping it up really convenient. The toothbrush also feels powerful without being uncomfortable. The sonic vibration is noticeably different from a traditional electric toothbrush at first, but I quickly got used to it. It feels fast and thorough, and you can really feel the brush working across your teeth, while the pressure indicator helps prevent you from pressing too hard. Overall, I’ve been extremely impressed with the Philips Sonicare 8500. The combination of excellent cleaning performance, pressure guidance, convenient wireless charging, a well-designed travel case, brush-head reminders and the accompanying app makes it feel like a very well thought-out toothbrush. As this is my first sonic toothbrush, I wasn’t sure how much difference it would make compared with a traditional electric toothbrush, but I’ve been genuinely impressed with the results. It’s easy to use, packed with useful features and, most importantly, leaves my teeth feeling exceptionally clean. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their toothbrush.

Omg, I can’t believe how good is this toothbrush. One of the best I ever had. The package is amazing with lots of information. Is just about right size and. The case is very good.Long lasting battery amazing. Now the performance and the cleaning is just amazing, it’s full options for every type of teeth’s and it does the job , it is just perfect.

I wasn’t sure how different this would feel from my previous electric toothbrush, but I noticed the improvement straight away. My teeth feel properly clean and smooth after brushing, while the A3 head is still gentle on my gums. The pressure light is probably my favourite feature because I sometimes press harder than I realise. The different modes and intensity levels are useful, although I mainly use Clean mode. The handle feels comfortable and secure in my hand, the controls are simple, and the black finish looks very smart. Battery life has been reliable so far, with no charging or performance issues. I also like the charging pad and travel case, as they make the whole set feel practical as well as premium. It is more expensive than a basic electric toothbrush, but the cleaning performance and useful features make it worth the money for me. Very pleased with it. The vibration intensity is perfect as well.

This toothbrush is unreal. After just 1 use i could feel my teeth squeaky clean. I like the digital display, 1 button to switch on and then slide to your preferred setting, almost like using a phone.... mind blown 🤯 used for a few days now and battery is still showing fully charged. The tooth bristles on the head feels soft but firm to the touch. Used otherbranded tooth brushes previously but i think im converted already to philips. Also blue tooth capabilities to show how your brushing and a colour changing base to tell if your brushing enough or too hard. Amazing technology even for a compact toothbrush. The thing that really sets this of is a glass to swill your mouth, is also part of a wire free charge for the brush, on a simple but elegant touch on a charging pad. Also the carry case is very robust, not a flimsy cheap plastic case. This has all been cleverly thought out making it an all round great investment. Well done philips.

This toothbrush is a total game changer! Next level of cleanliness. Easy to use, fast to charge and battery very efficient. I decided for my family that we all will continue using the brand and model!

This toothbrush is seriously amazing! My teeth have never felt cleaner after brushing. I was a little skeptical at first, but it really gets into all the nooks and crannies. Definitely a game-changer for my oral hygiene routine. I'm so happy with this purchase!

The Phillips Sonicare Diamond Clean 8500 is AMAZING!! I have used a basic electric toothbrush for years. This… absolutely shines way above and beyond! It was packaged great and felt like the premium product that it is. Everything in individual boxes (It felt like one of the ‘unboxing’ videos my 12 year old watches). The toothbrush itself is very lightweight yet remains premium. It has a touchscreen display to swipe between options, a ‘confirm’ button and of course the on/off switch. You then link the toothbrush via Bluetooth to the app. There are clear instructions within the box to explain how to set this up. The app took a minute to set up. It features different settings for the toothbrush including clean, diamond clean, whitening etc. You select what you want. It gives daily data on how well you’re brushing your teeth. If you press too hard it gives a warning light, if you continue to press too hard, the toothbrush adapts for this. The brush head feels great, not too firm nor soft. The data tracking on the app is great and protective daily brushing align with flossing and other dental hygiene too. I am very impressed with this product and would certainly recommend this as 5* and will be encouraging my husband to purchase one.

Really impressed with the Phillips 8500! It has a strong, powerful clean & I love that it guides you where to brush, making it easier to give your entire mouth a thorough clean. After brushing my teeth and mouth feel noticeably fresher and extra clean! The set up was extremely simple! Just had to unpack the items and follow the guide which was included in the unboxing. I also really like the additional accessories that come with it such as a travel charger! It feels like a premium tooth brush. Would highly recommend
