Would never go back to corded ironing. This iron is very stable and heats up so quickly that by the time I have adjusted the article I'm ironing it is always ready to go. The large water reservoir gives plenty of steam and the heat settings are very controllable. I haven't scorched anything yet! The real bonus of not having a cord is that you can use either hand and the whole ironing board - fantastic.

Our previous Philips iron was corded and lasted many years, our upgrade to the cord-free iron seemed a sensible move and we are not disappointed. The rapid heat time is great from cold and the iron is easy to use, we are pleased the water filling hole is now larger than our previous Philips iron, avoids any spills. The sole plate design is nice especially works well between buttons. The top-up heat recharge takes seconds and we found that the iron stays hot for sufficient time whilst ironing garment surfaces before the garment needs turning. We highly recommend this iron.

I really love my iron. Recently noticed the steam not working and looking at sole plate some of the holes appear to be blocked. Have not received a reply to my email to customer suppot.

Fed up with my irons always having issues with the joining electric cord...this iron gets rid of the problem completely! Have not changed the way i iron at all, the charging time/using time seems to naturally occur with normal ironing usage. Stand stays firm on my ironing board, great the way you can lock the iron on to it for storage. Great design. Really pleased with my purchase ☺ thankyou phillips for making ironing such a pleasure.

Using a cordless iron gives freedom, speed and efficiency. It is so easy just to pop the iron onto its charger whilst you readjust the garment you are ironing. It is easy to read the symbols and refill with ordinary tap water. It is light and glides fairly easily over the fabric. It looks stylish and is easy to store.

Brilliant iron usual good product from Philips. Would highly recommend a light iron easy to use.

Great iron - so easy to use. No need to worry about power cables any more. You can place the charging base on a worktop/table in a convenient position relative to the ironing board. Especially good as my husband is left-handed.

This is fantastic and once you get into the habit of putting the iron back on the charger as you move your clothes around on the ironing board you will wonder why this product isn't the norm. Can't fault the steam function but I also use a fine mister to slightly dampen over dry clothes. I rarely have to wait for the iron to heat up as it is really fast, probably faster than my ironing anyway!! It's made a chore less of a chore and what more could you ask for....no more cord catching or dragging round either. You won't look back.
